Spooky squishies for the trick or treat bag
Handing out sweets always works, but something that lasts is nicer. These two are made especially for Halloween and they are pop-up squishies: you press them in and they spring back out.
With both of them the design is a surprise, so you do not know in advance which version you get.
Creepy without even trying
A few squishies from the regular range fit the theme surprisingly well. The eyeball squishies for example, or the brain squishy. Have a look at the squishies.
Look 1: classic gothic
Black eyeliner in a sharp wing, matte dark lips and a pale base. You need very little for it and it always works.
- Even out your skin with a foundation half a shade lighter than usual.
- Take the eyeliner a little further out than you normally would.
- Keep the lips matte, no shine. That is what separates gothic from an evening look.
Look 2: glitter skull
Easier than it looks. Use a white or black eyeliner to draw the outline of a skull around your eyes and nose, then fill the rest in with loose glitter. Set it with setting spray, or you will be wiping glitter off your cheeks all night.
Look 3: nails as the finishing touch
Halloween nails are the easiest way to join in without painting your whole face. Black with a single accent nail works best. Also nice: a matte top coat over black gel polish, which gives a velvety effect that looks more expensive than it is.
