There is nothing more annoying in the summer than those fast-growing hairs that make you have to shave almost every day to stroll carefree in your favorite summer outfits or to lie on the beach in your bikini. If your skin is just smooth and soft, you will feel the first hairs coming through the next day. The razor blades cannot be dragged. Which hair removal product do you choose?

A cream contains a substance that breaks down the hairs at the hair follicle. Your hair will stay away for a few days to a week. That sounds better than shaving every day, right? Before you take a shower, apply the depilatory cream to the desired place(s), let it soak in for a while, rinse and your skin will feel velvety soft! Always follow the instructions on the packaging and test in your elbow cavity, for example, whether your skin does not react allergically.
To wax your hair, you have to leave your hair for a while. The wax has no grip if your hairs are too short and then you don't take anything with you. It is best if the hairs are about half an inch long. This requires a little more patience ;-). But when the time comes, the wax will take the hair shaft and the hair root with it and you will enjoy smooth legs for at least two weeks and sometimes even up to 8 weeks! And the more often you wax, the less the hairs will grow back and will virtually disappear over time.
How do you prepare your skin for a hair removal session at home?
You get out of bed in the morning and start your morning ritual. You have chosen your clothes and you think quickly how to remove hair from those legs. But haste is rarely good and this also applies when you are going to get your hair removed. Good preparation is half the battle and in this case not unimportant!
Before using a depilatory cream, it is best to test whether your skin does not react allergic or irritated to it. For best results and good adhesion, you can exfoliate your skin before applying the cream.
When you get started with wax strips, it is important to disinfect and exfoliate your skin. This way you ensure that bacteria and dead skin cells are removed and that the wax adheres well to the hairs.
