Cleaning your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your makeup brushes is important for keeping your skin healthy and extending the lifespan of your brushes. We recommend cleaning your brushes thoroughly at least once a week to prevent the buildup of bacteria that can affect your skin.

Step 1: Clean your brush

Hold your brush under lukewarm running water. Make sure no water gets into the ferrule, as moisture can damage the glue holding the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or onto a Brush Cleansing Mat and gently swirl the bristles in circular motions. You can also clean the brush using the Brush & Sponge Cleansing Soap & Pad.

Step 2: Rinse thoroughly

Rinse the brush well under lukewarm water until all cleanser is removed and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water with your fingers.

Step 3: Reshape the brush

Carefully reshape the bristles back into their original form. Then slide a Brush Protector over the brush from the handle toward the bristles to maintain their shape.

Step 4: Let it dry

Lay the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, position it at an angle with the bristles facing downward by placing a rolled towel under the handle.

Step 5: Disinfect

If desired, lightly mist your brush with Brush Cleanser to disinfect.
