The Essence Studio Nails UV Gel Nail Base Coat Perfect Base is the perfect start for a long-lasting, salon-worthy manicure. This base coat helps your gel polish apply smoothly, evenly and last longer. Ideal for anyone who loves a clean and professional finish, right at home.
Apply a thin layer after filing and cleaning your nails. Thanks to the ultra-smooth texture, application is effortless and the result looks clean. Then cure the base coat under a 36-watt UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds. Your nails are now ready for your favorite color from the Essence UV Gel Nail collection.
This base coat is step one of the 3-step system to take your manicure to the next level.
Shape your nails, push back the cuticles, and buff the surface gently.
Degrease your nails with cleanser or cosmetic acetone.
Apply a primer or multibond and let it dry or cure as instructed.
Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure (UV: 2–3 min / LED: 60–90 sec).
Apply 1–2 thin layers of color and cure each layer separately.
Finish with a top coat and cure again.
If needed, remove the sticky layer with cleanser and nourish your cuticles with oil.
