The tip cutter has a U-shaped blade and you can adjust the tension of that blade. That lets you cut straight across or in a curve, so you decide what shape a nail tip gets. It is strong enough for acrylic and false nails, and you use it just as well on your own nail.

The cuticle nipper has a sharp jaw that closes all the way, so you cut rather than tear. The pusher pushes your cuticles back with its flat end, and with the curved end and the knife end of the scraper you take away soaked off gel polish and cuticle residue. 1. Cut your nail or tip to length with the tip cutter, in small sections from the outside in.
2. Set the blade looser or tighter, depending on whether you want a straight or a curved cut.
3. Soak your cuticles briefly and push them back with the flat end of the pusher.
4. Only nip away loose skin with the cuticle nipper and leave the rest.
5. Scrape soaked off gel polish away with the curved end or the knife end of the scraper.
6. Clean the tools after use, dry them and only put them away once they are completely dry.
