Description

The Chaun Legend Gel Polish Sweet Dreams is a gel polish in a creamy light purple that is opaque in one layer, somewhere between lilac and lavender.

With a light purple, one layer keeps the shade purest, and that is exactly what this one does: even and on colour in one go. Combines well with white, with silver or with the light pink shades from this line.

You cure each layer for 60 seconds under a LED or UV lamp, and with a base coat underneath and a top coat over it you are set for weeks. The polish does not run into the cuticles, so your edge stays clean. You will find all the shades at gel polish.

How to use

File your nails lightly and degrease them, so the polish has grip.
Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure it for 30 seconds.
Apply a thin layer of colour, take it over the free edge and cure for 60 seconds.
Repeat until you have the coverage you want.
Finish with a top coat and cure it for 60 seconds.

Do I need a lamp for gel polish?

Yes. Gel polish does not dry in the air, it cures under UV or LED light. Without a lamp the layer stays soft and sticky. You will find lamps under UV and LED lamps.

Do I need a base and top coat as well?

Yes, and it saves you a lot of hassle. The base gives the color grip on your nail and the top coat seals everything off, so your manicure lasts for weeks. Have a look at base coat and top coat.

How do I remove gel polish?

File off the shiny layer, place a cotton pad with remover on your nail and wrap foil around it. After about ten minutes the layer slides off with a cuticle pusher. Better not to pull or pick at it, because you take nail with it.
