Cleaning your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your makeup brushes is important to keep your skin healthy and to extend the life of your brushes. That’s why we recommend cleaning your makeup brushes thoroughly and regularly, at least once a week. This prevents a build-up of bacteria that can clog your skin.

Step 1. Clean your brush

Hold your brush under running lukewarm water. Make sure no water gets into the ferrule, as moisture can damage the glue that holds the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or to a brush cleansing mat and gently rub the bristles into the cleanser with circular motions.

Step 2. Rinse the brush thoroughly

Rinse the brush thoroughly under lukewarm water until all the cleanser is removed and the water runs clear again. Gently squeeze the excess water out of the brush with your fingers.

Step 3. Reshape the brush

Gently reshape the bristles to their original shape. Then slide a brush protector over the brush, starting from the handle and moving towards the bristles, to keep them from losing their shape.

Step 4. Let the brush dry

Place the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, lay the brushes at an angle with the bristles facing down, for example by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.

Step 5. Disinfect

If you like, you can disinfect your brush by lightly spraying it with brush cleanser.

To soften harsh lines, you can lightly blend your highlighter.

Defining your lower lash line:

Step 1. Apply eyeshadow

Gently dab your brush into the eyeshadow shade of your choice. Make sure you don’t pick up too much product so your look doesn’t get too intense. Hold your makeup brush horizontally and apply the eyeshadow along your lower lash line. Work from the outside in for an even application.

Step 2. Blend if needed

To soften harsh lines, you can gently blend your eyeshadow. This gives a more natural look

Step 3. Extra definition

Want to add extra definition to your eye look? Apply a thin line of eyeliner or eye pencil along your lower lash line

Step 4. Finishing touch

Complete your eye look by applying mascara to your lower lashes
